Description This rocking chair is one of my favorite things I have ever built. And its very comfortable too! I used stainless steel to make the frame. All tubing was bent by hand, then welded to make a sturdy frame. I then used cotton rope (1/4") and wove it in a random pattern to create the seat and backrest area. For additional safety, I sewed the rope in random inconspicuous places, because of this both the seat and backrest are very firm and extra sturdy. This rocking chair sits low to the floor (approx. 14"), and has a wide stance to permit the user to rock very far back without tipping over. The use of bent tubing provides very light, smooth rocking. Measures approx. 31" W x 36" L x 31" H
