Akiko Pattern - Kenzo

Description

Takada Kenzo was born in 1939 in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Initially attending Kobe University, Kenzo finally enrolled in the Bunkafukuso Gakuin fashion school. In 1964 Kenzo moved to Paris and began to design a series of collections. Incorporating traditional Japanese forms, Kenzo eventually built his brand into to an empire combining fashion, perfumes, and household goods. The firm is now owned by LVMH.
