Working through a professional partnership, designers in France collaborate with local craftsmen in Cameroon, Africa to create meticulously handmade objects. The "bar code" series is a humorous ode to our consumption society, and is thoroughly modern in its simplicity. Created by hand assembling narrow strips of wenge and landa together, then hand-carved and finished.
