This unusual souvenir of the 1968 U.S. presidential election seems a bit ironic today—as if anyone would be likely to forget such a tumultuous and violence-ridden election. The print of the dress encourages the proper, preppy Republican lady (meant to be wearing it, no doubt) to “Remember the day in pictures” and “Vote.” The fun print has elephants, images of the White House, and an image of a photo-taking lady. This mini shift dress is made of a cotton blend fabric, unlined, with darts at the bust and a back zipper.
