Flowers are great. They're pretty, and thoughtful, and often expensive, which makes them really nice to receive on Valentine's Day, or anytime, really. On the other hand, they just sort of sit there, and then wilt, and then die, which is kind of sad and a little too far in tune with reality for my liking, especially on such a commercialized-- excuse me, light-hearted-- holiday like Valentine's Day.
So what are we saying? Change it up! Put a little spin on your sweet side with a gift that has a lifespan lasting longer than a few days.
