The most prominent shoe trend this fall/winter is the riding boot. In all its western glory, designers have churned out many iterations - in distressed leather, patent leather, suede, and even metallic! It's no wonder the riding boot is so popular- with a flat sole, it's also practical, not to mention easy to wear. A complete outfit is as easy as a comfy sweater and skinny jeans tucked into a pair of riding boots. My favorite is the Frye 'Paige' cuff riding boots, but for a totally different look, I also love Sam Edelman's 'Kailee' black patent riding boots.
