Hot In The Hive: Moshi Voice Control Alarm Clock

Finally -- an alarm clock for the sleeper who really doesn't want to get up. Since my alarm isn't within arm's reach, I always have to physically haul myself out of bed every time I want to smack the snooze button! The techie braniacs at Moshi clearly had everyone's lazy-bum side in mind when they invented the Voice Control Alarm Clock. Now you can shut your alarm clock off (or set the time, or check the temperature, or even set your next alarm time) by simply telling it off -- with its trusty voice control technology. I'm kind of thinking this device is dangerous for those who sleep like the dead (or those who talk in their sleep), but it does sound awfully convenient for us anti-morning people!

Add Vintage Appeal To Your Look With A Pocket Watch Necklace!

One accessory of the past that I wish had never gone out of style is the pocket watch necklace, or pendant watch. There's something so refined and sophisticated about this vintage-inspired timepiece, dangling elegantly from a chain and worn as a necklace, or placed carefully inside a breast pocket. While watches can also be beautiful, a watch necklace is not only eye-catching, but unique and practical as well. Is there anything else you could ask for from a piece of jewelry? With the layered look still at the forefront of jewelry trends today, a pocket watch necklace frees up a wrist from an everyday watch and allows you to pile on a few more bangles and bracelets. Plus, a pocket watch necklace nestled amongst other chains and necklaces adds interest and texture, giving the wearer a look that's both vintage and modern. Hot In The Hive: Telephone Cord Watch

What time is it? Time to get a new watch -- and possibly finally return some of those missed calls that have been piling up on your PDA. Unfortunately this "On The Other Line" Telephone Cord Watch from Uncommon Goods can't help you make phone calls, but it is a cute throwback to the pre-wireless world of long-distance communication. Made from recycled telephone cords and adorned with a vintage phone key, the timepiece is fun, functional, and artsy-chic. Plus, the stretchy cord eliminates the need for add-on links and resizing to suit your wrist. And you gotta admit, you kind of missed absent-mindedly twirling the cord around while you chit-chatted your way to an outrageous phone bill.
