It can be difficult to look chic and polished during the winter months, when the temptation to bury yourself underneath piles of chunky layers is at an all-time high. The Olsen twins are a constant source of fashion inspiration for me and at the New York screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, funky sis Mary-Kate once again delivered a knockout performance with a look that was super stylish and totally cold-weather practical. Mary-Kate fended off the chill wearing a black dress, black velvet coat, and a funky leopard print Louis Vuitton scarf which added a pop of color to the monochrome look. She injected the look with some of her signature edge, sporting a pair of cut out booties by Proenza Schouler and accessorizing with some statement-making rings.
