Hot young designer Matthew Ames is definitely one to watch for in 2008. Taking a heavy dose of inspiration from the Bauhaus movement, his collection plays with form and structure and foregrounds bold geometric and curvilinear shapes. Ames' strong lines are a welcome change to the flowy babydoll dresses we've been inundated with for the last few seasons.
