Daily Obsesh - Gilded Slip Dress

It's Friday night, you're getting ready to go out and you want to dress to impress. If you don't know exactly what you're going to be wearing then it's time to stop and think! What do you grab for when you want to look your best? Do you have a Little Black Dress that is to die for? If not, then you need to take a look at this Gilded Slip Dress by Nasty gal. This dress is amazing! First, the black lining along the sides creates a great slimming effect for any gal (and no matter what your body type, we all love that!), and the ruching helps hide problem areas effortlessly. With adjustable straps you won't need to worry about fixing your dress all night either and looking unsightly. This dress is sexy, affordable, and the gold lining makes it even hotter! Who wants to wear plain black nowadays? Step up your game in this sexy number and kill all the competition!

Daily Obsesh - Urban Outfitters Lace Triangle Bralette

There are outfits and occasions that call for undergarments that are practical and supportive above all else, and it's at these times that I reach for my favorite nude Calvin Klein bras. Other times, much to our grandmother's dismay, our undergarments have become as much a part of our outfit as the clothing we wear over them. This is where the Urban Outfitters Lace Triangle Bralette comes into play. This is the kind of bra you want to wear for the sole purpose of peeping out of low-cut tops and scooped armhole tanks. I've actually checked out more than one girl on street walk buy in this bra, and a few of my girlfriends swear by it. It's feminine, delicate, and lacy, but provides just enough coverage to be confident you won't over-expose yourself in your loose fitting tops. While the bralette comes in the usual nude and black, I suggest going for the bold chartreuse or ravenscourt (raspberry) to provide a funky contrast color to your outfits. Of course, the first blush and nude would both look amazing paired with fall's blacks, navys and greens and are also great for when you are trying to keep your undergarments incognito. Good thing these are only $16.00 each, because it looks like I may need to stock up in every color! Indecision, my wallet's worst nightmare...

Lacy Looks For Summer!

While many of our favorite lace garments belong in our drawer of un-mentionables, the look of lace in your everyday outfits has a lingerie-like lust effect on the on-lookers. The see-thru floral ringlet design is perfect for a summery look and feel, as the whole idea around lace as a fabric is for it to be light and airy. The best part -- a little flash of lace can go a long way. Lace is just one of those easy to add fashion commodities that can be found in the most creative of places, such as ust between the straps of your racerback tank or as a mini ruffle to your mini-skirt. Going all lace has a vintage appeal: when white, the classic sheer is soft and virtuous, and when black, your look's turned scarlet-letter scandalous. In a season that's known for its harsh heat, smoulder a little more comfortably in the breezy feel of lace. Sift through these slideshow picks for ideas on some lustrous lacy looks!

Label Love: Miss Ferriday's Lacy Lingerie-Inspired Pieces

Based on just her latest lingerie-inspired, ultra-feminine Miss Ferriday collection, it's hard to imagine that founder Ann Ferriday got her big break by hand-sewing leather stage outfits for David Bowie and Elton John. But despite the fact that she first began sewing her own Barbie outfits and creating looks for flamboyant male music acts, her line is undoubtedly mature, sexy, and soft yet edgy. With a limited muted color palette and no florals, tribal print, or beaded embellishment in sight, the Summer 2010 collection is refreshingly summery in that it isn't pointedly or obnoxiously summery. Instead, it's mysterious and alluring with its lacy tunics, tanks, crop tops, and minidresses that are pretty without looking frou-frou, suggestive without being revealing, and sheer without verging on tacky. Label Love: Geek Out With Araks

Remember the opening scene in Lost in Translation where all you see is Scarlett Johansson's bum clad with a pair of pink undies? Well, those undies were by New York based designer Araks Yeramyan who happens to have celebrity fans like Michelle Williams, Kirsten Dunst, and Sofia Coppola (natch). For a fairly new designer, her fashion background is quite impressive. Araks studied at Parsons and Central Saint Martins, interned with Marc Jacobs, and freelanced at J.Crew designing lingerie and swimwear. In 2000 she launched her own line of stylish lingerie and then debuted her clothing collection in 2006. I fell in love with her Spring 2010 line with menswear inspired pieces like double-breasted jackets, long cardigans and trousers. Whether you were a nerd or geek back in high school or not, the geek chic look is easy to pull off with any Araks piece. When people say "timeless" when talking about fashion, Araks is definitely on the shortlist. Take a look at my slideshow to see more.

Let Out Your Inner Seductress With Sultry Valentine's Day Lingerie

As much as sexy lingerie succeeds in shooting your confidence through the stratosphere, it's not exactly comfy for everyday wear. I know they say pain is beauty, but itchy lace and corset boning digging into your love handles isn't exactly what you want to be enduring for the sake of looking sexy on just any day of the week... unless of course it's a special occasion! So this V-Day, swap your standard boyshorts for luxe lingerie and let that closet vixen come out, at least for the night! With slinky sheer babydolls and gorgeously flattering bra-and-panty sets, you (and your Valentine) will love your seductive new skivvies so much, you may never revisit another 5-for-$25 Pink panties deal ever again! Okay, that's taking it a little far, but if you're feeling tempted to bring out that V-Day temptress, check the slideshow for the picks!
