Street Style - Must Have Outerwear!

We haven't been shy with our love for fall fashion and this week is no exception. So for this week's street style installment, we asked our some of our favorite bloggers what their must have outerwear for the season is.

See their fab answers below!

The 3 Best Back To School Letterman Jackets!

Ra! Ra! Ra! The Letterman (or the Varsity, as it is also known) is back.

A classic jacket that was made famous in the 50's, has been reinvented yet again for fall 2011.

Easy to wear and great with both jeans or a cute summer to fall transition dress, the Letterman Jacket is easily one of this season's must haves!

To get you started, we€™ve selected our 3 faves:

Daily Obsesh - Green Double Bow Keeper Belt

With shows like Mad Men making a huge impact on fashion, it's no wonder that we are seeing the return of the waistline!

For the new Fall 2011 season, there will be plenty of dresses reminiscent of the 1950's - 60's where fitted waists and full circle skirts will most definitely be the silhouette of choice!

What better way to accent this feminine asset than a simple slim belt. Topshop's green double bow keeper belt is one of our favorites here at the Hive. In the perfect shade of classic Kelly green, the leather belt features two dainty bow keepers and a antique gold buckle.

Wear it with pretty dresses or, for something more casual, pair it with a crisp white shirt and some high-waist jeans. (It also comes in - light tan, orange, aubergine and oxblood versions!)

Bag of the Week - Nomad Scarf Handbag

Ethnic inspired prints are making a huge statement this summer from ikats to batiks, animal prints and serape stripes.

But, if these wild, and often, colorful prints are a bit bold for your taste in clothing, then why not catch the wanderlust spirit with a fabulous fabric handbag?

Lucky Penny's Nomad Scarf Handbag is a top pick here at the Hive. This spacious carryall is made from a printed silk scarf bearing zebras and sketched leaves. In a bright, of-the-moment coral, the bag is detailed with leather straps, a magnetic closure and three roomy inner pockets.

So, if solids are your go-to look, this handbag will certainly take a pair of flares and billowy white blouse to the next level. Yet, if wild is your way, then we suggest mixing this prints with another and really getting in touch with your inner nomadic spirit!

Shoe of the Week - Medina Sandals

Many of us take time off during the warm weather season to take a trip to some fabulous foreign land - a summer safari in Africa or a week lounging by the calm blue seas of Capri.

Then again, many of us don't, or simply can't, but don't let that deter you from making your summer an exotic one! With all sorts of ethnic inspired looks being key this season, from ikat and batiks to animal prints, you might not be traveling but your wardrobe will say otherwise!

Even if you're skipping the African safari, you'll still being seeing leopard spots with J. Crew's Medina sandals. In leather and calf hair, these flat sandals were made for walking, whether it's the narrow streets of the Morroccan city they are named after or just running around town.

Antique gold buckles and rich caramel colored leather give these sandals a luxe looks - the very same look they€™ll give all your summer ensembles.

Daily Obsesh - Leather Festival Purse

Ok, yes. We love our purses and handbags.

We have many in our closets and are nowhere near our limit and always on the look-out for the next must-have bag to add to our collections. But as much as we love our bags, we have to admit ... Sometimes, they get in the way.

When it comes to partaking in carefree summer activities, maneuvering through large crowds on vacation and trying to be as streamlined and clutter free as possible, our beloved purses are sometimes more hassle than haute.

That's why we love this little purse that's also a belt. It's roomy enough to store all you'll need, but not so big where you end up with a lot that you don't. The leather makes it look luxe and expensive, but it's amazing price won't make you feel guilty for cramming it into a suitcase or thrown in the trunk on a road trip!

Price - $34.48

Bag of the Week - Cleobella Mini Cantina Bag

Good things come in small packages, as they say, and this goes for some of our very favorite handbags of the summer season.

Who feels like lugging around some oversized satchel in the steamy weather anyway? When the sun is shining, keep your bag as teeny as your bikini!

One of our top picks here at the Hive is the Cleobella Mini Cantina bag. This cross body mini bag is handmade from distressed leather and features perforated, whipstitched edges.

The patina color compliments the antiqued brass hardware giving it a distinctive vintage look. It also features a magnetic snap closure at the front and a generously long adjustable shoulder strap.

Wear it with your fave denim cut-offs or all those maxi dresses you've stocked your closet with. This little bag is truly the perfect pouch to carry your summer essentials to concerts, clubs and cocktails on the sand!

Where to Buy - Shopbop

Price - $100.10

Bag of the Week - Bahia Hobo

Looking for the perfect summer bag for your upcoming seaside getaway?

Ok, even if you are just headed to your local beach, it's definitely time to put away the big heavy leather tote you've been lugging around all winter long. It's summer, girls ... the time for easy, breezy lightweight looks, and that means your bag, too!

The Bahia Hobo in honey brown from J. Crew is at the top of our summer must-have list. Made of earthy straw and threaded with colorful grosgrain ribbon, this hobo bag is completely hand-woven. It features a soft leather handle, and is accented with chunky metal hardware. You can fold it and pack it in your suitcase without worrying about it losing it's shape, too!

So, whether it's a weekend getaway to the Hamptons, a day at Malibu beach or even just a quick trip to your local farmer's market, the Bahia hobo is the perfect pick!

Where to Buy - J. Crew

Bag of the Week - Topshop Chocolate Whipstitch Leather Satchel

This bag from TopShop is structurally and texturally classic and simple. It's the perfect size for a day shoulder bag, without all of the adornments that can render a purse tacky or cheap.

Simple whipstitch detailing gives the bag a John Wayne Western feel and it's all the extra detaling it needs. Also, the adjustable strap with the buckle is cool and subtle addition that's convenient too! It's roomy enough to accomodate your daily dependables, but not so big that you end up bringing along everything in your apartment. Plus, we love the color of the rich and truly chocolate-y leather.

No huge label, no tassles, no useless gold hardware just a well made, basic, brown leather bag that you will wear well and often. This bag can go anywhere you go and with almost anything you could wear.

Where to Buy - Topshop

Price - $40.00 (was $80)

The Perfect Black Hobo Bag for under $200

You can't beat a hobo bag for it's great functionality and this Liebeskind Andrea Leather Hobo is now on sale at Nordstrom for only $185.90 (was $279).

My friend Susan has it so I've seen it in person and the leather is fantastic and so soft. The photos online don't do it justice. You really feel like you are having a luxe bag. It reminds me a bit of the Alexander Wang Donna Hobo without the large price tag.

Liebenskind is a German brand which makes bags, belts and shoes. Their handbags and totes are fabulously hip and stylish. I also love their price range.

If you are looking for a tote, the Liebeskind Nina Slouchy Leather Shoulder Tote is only $185.90 (was $279) and comes in black, blue, or brandy. Hopefully Nordstrom will continue to carry more of their products!
