Hot In The Hive: Alessi 'Carlo' Ghost Bottle Cap

You're never too old to celebrate Halloween! While you may not be looking for a crazy costume party to go crash, a ghoulish get-together with friends may be just the thing for some Halloween fun. The decor is done, the scarily tasty menu has been decided and your outfit for your Halloween night is appropriately black and orange. A few bottles of wine to pop open and you're all set. Don't forget to grab Carlo! He's a ghostly little guy that is too cute to be scary and loves to sit on top or your wine bottles as a festive bottle cap (if, for some reason, you don't finish all the wine in one night). Designed by Alessi, the Carlo bottle cap comes in a variety of colors and is cheap enough so you can buy a few to add to your Halloween fun. You did finish all the wine? They're just as cute and festive sitting around the table and mingling with the guests!

Halloween Costume Ideas For $20 Or Less!

So unless you've been living under a rock, or have holed yourself up in a dark room, I'm sure you've noticed by now that it is pretty much Halloween. It's this Saturday and maybe you've been thinking about finding something cool to go as or just finding any costume, really, so you can join in on the Halloween spirit and festivities. But what about that bank account? Halloween is still a great deal of fun for any age, but now that you understand the value of a dollar more than you did when you were five, you realize that blowing upwards of three figures for one night that you'll remember through a haze is not that a great of an idea. Your rent is due soon, there's that bill you really can't put off anymore and the Holiday season is fast approaching as well. Have no fear (except for those ghosts and goblins that'll be roaming around in a few days), because after doing extensive searching and bargaining hunting, I've found quite a few Halloween accessories that are easy on the pocketbook and, when added to clothing and accessories that you and your friends already have, make a great costume for cheap! Click on the slideshow to see some great Halloween costume ideas that'll leave enough money in your wallet to buy your own Halloween treats!

Ha Ha Halloween: Outrageously Funny Halloween Costumes!

Although no one ever seems to tire of the sexy devils, bumble bees, and bunnies skimping around town on Halloween, the outfits that take the prize are the ones that make us laugh. The guys always get me to smile with their kissing booths and giant banana costumes, but a girl with the confidence to goof around with her look makes a memorable impression! A route certain to turn heads is the creative one, and while they all can't be found in stores (like last year's Sarah Palin and Joe The Plumber), if you can cue in to some of pop culture's latest cover-story conundrums or recent icons (think, literally, Rachel Zoe), you're a goofy god. Sure to flaunt your funny bone, however, is a classic like some num-nums or a young one, and a slew of other clever, time-appropriate ensembles! Yeah, the overused pirate or pixie gear this Halloween will look cute, but nothings cuter than the gall of a girl who can walk around town wrapped in a giant gorilla hand.! Click through this slideshow to see some of the funniest costumes to goof about in this year.

Hot In The Hive: R.I.P. Tombstone Nail Color

So far, we've given you lots of options for Halloween makeup, in case you're looking for an excuse to splurge on more dramatic products and shades you may normally not allow yourself to indulge in on any average day. But what if your beauty budget doesn't exactly allow for high-end costume-y makeup you know you'll never use again until it's way past its expiration date? Luckily, the lines carried at Sephora aren't the only ones boasting Halloween-friendly products -- bargain drugstore brands are going festive with their shades too. Wet 'N Wild's costume-specific line, Fantasy Makers, has just released their own mini-collection of R.I.P. Tombstone Nail Polish just for the spooky season. While the three different shades (shiny black, multicolored glitter, and a sheer glow-in-the-dark shade) are pretty "Halloweenie," they're inexpensive enough to be worth the splurge. Plus, the bottle is totally cute, in an appropriately morbid sort of way...

Babes In Boo-land: Halloween Costumes For Little Ones!

At age one, I was a mouse, and front-page news for winning my small town's Halloween costume contest. While my fifteen minutes of fame has come and gone, there may be a little one in your life who has a winning future too. Yes, sometimes toddlers don't like costumes -- or clothes in general, for that matter -- but wrestling them into an over-sized, plush lobster may just be worth the hassle. It's probably true that junior won't remember his or her first anything let alone the first October 31st, but the pictures will live to tell the story of a good costume. The best thing about these costumes is that they're timeless, and certainly reusable for the next little nugget that will fit into them. Don't make them too scary though -- the thought of getting a toddler into a costume is frightening enough. Click through the slideshow for some adorable Halloween costumes for babies!

Ghoulish And Gorgeous Halloween Makeup To Complete Your Look!

If you're not exactly the most handy with an eyeliner brush, or even if you can't tell the difference between an eyeliner brush or an eyeshadow applicator, you may normally skip past beauty aisles and counters out of fear of the unknown... or the likelihood that you'll end up looking like something out of a horror movie if left to your own devices with a collection of shades. Luckily, Halloween is the one time of year where that look just might work in your favor! Costume makeup doesn't discriminate between the cosmetics-challenged and the beauty adept; even if you're not looking to go out as a drag queen, it can be fairly easy to complement your costume with the right Halloween-appropriate makeup. Dark nail polish is always an easy way to get festive, or take the opportunity to go full-out glam with gilded eye foil. Or if you're really that helpless when it comes to self-beautifying, these wild ColorOn eyeshadow appliques practically do all the work for you! Take a look at the slideshow for some perfect beauty picks to either look frightening or fetching on your night out!
