Staycation. It's a trendy term I've been hearing thrown around quite a bit this summer. And while I applaud the news programs that turned this eco-friendly idea of staying close to home into a chic way to spend this summer's vacation, most peoples' backyards are anything but an oasis. So how do you turn that crumbling patio or yellowing lawn into something that resembles a desirable outdoor living space? Well, it's really quite simple - accessorize! By adding interesting features to you your backyard, you can turn an ordinary outdoor space into something truly exceptional. Be drawn outside for a playful game of croquet, or escape the sunlight under a jewel-toned cabana. At night, illuminate your yard with an exquisitely designed fire pit, or watch your favorite flicks on an outdoor theater entertainment system. What's best of all is that these items are meant to be shared in the company of family and friends.
