Ever since the maxi dress became part of the design trends again, hundreds of models are appearing every year.


Considered in the yesteryears as clothing for older women, maxi dresses are now being designed for younger and younger girls. They are increasingly casual, although you can still find some chic formal long dresses around. Designers are giving the maxi dress its original function of seduction and visual attraction.

Daily Obsesh - Motel 'Gemma' Dress

Detailed-simplicity sounds like an oxymoron in fashion, but that's the best way to describe this multi-functioning dress.


Motel's Gemma dress doesn't want for details. It has buttons on the shoulders and down the back, contrast trim along the edges, an open V-back, and a cut-out waist. Yet all these elements combine into a dress that is actually quite simple and screaming for accessories.


Wear it with a canvas tote and sneakers for a frolic in the park or a day of sailing. Then, slip on a pair of nude peep-toe pumps to give the appearance of super long legs under the short hemline.
