Fake Diamonds for the Elizabeth Taylor in You!

Diamonds, of course, are a girl's best friend. But in this economy, who has the money to go out and drop some serious cash on a rock? Enter the world of lovely costume jewelry. Oversized faux diamonds are fun, cheap and look great with anything from an evening dress to jeans and a t-shirt! I love the "Big As A House" diamond ring from Fred Flare -- only $9 and makes a huge impact! For something a bit more vintage, what about the tea party ring from Banana Republic? Its vintage cut and mix of materials send a perfect mix of "this is an heirloom" and "this is fabulous." Check out my slideshow for other lovely faux diamonds!

Ring in the New Year With A Radiant Vintage Ring!

I know it's only the second day of Christmas, but really, is there anyone out there who wants to receive two turtle doves? I say cut to the chase and get to the real goodies- those five golden rings! Of course, when The Twelve Days of Christmas first appeared as a children's book back in the 1780s, the famous "five golden rings" are rumored to have had nothing to do with jewelry. (Some say they represented the gold rings on a pheasant's neck.) In any case, it didn't take long for men to figure out that women were way more interested in the 14-carat kind of gold wrapped in beautiful packages. In today's economic climate, however, five golden rings does seem a bit excessive, so I'll be happy to settle for just one of these fabulous finds. Hive 5: Coffee Cups That Aren't Your Average Cup Of Joe

Although cups with cheesy sayings are like an epidemic in the office, you can have the mug that brightens everyone's day. These too-cute cups are sure to add some personality to your desk and make terrific gifts if you get tired of seeing the lifeless ones your co-workers use. They are more than just caffeine holders, hand warmers, and paper weights... let's face it, people probably see you more with coffee mugs than with shoes on! So grab one that will make you say 'I do', one that you can use as a color reference, one that has food compartments, or one that just puts a smile on your face. Check them all out at my slideshow!
