The Met Costume Institute Gala Is Tonight!
The Met Ball is tonight, and in addition to the excitement of who's wearing (and bringing) who there's the event's theme, "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion," which explores the industry's perception of beauty and the power that models have in influencing the fashion of their generation. This year's event is chaired by Marc Jacobs, and co-chaired by Kate Moss, Justin Timberlake, and Anna Wintour, and the models and icons featured in the exhibit include Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Shalom Harlow, Kate Moss, Amber Valletta, and Iman, among others. You can see the exhibit for yourself at the Met's Tisch Galleries between May 6th and May 9th. And now for the gossip-- Karl Lagerfeld: not attending! Kate will wear Marc!
