It was impossible not to sympathize with the cast of Make Me A Supermodel during last week's challenges. Being dragged out of a warm cozy bed at the crack of dawn only to strip down in the freezing cold and pose for a photo-shoot in a tank filled with greenish water alongside a huge snake kind of belies the whole notion that modeling is a glamorous job! And the animal motif didn€™t stop there! For this week's runway challenge, the cast of Old McDonald€™s farm was brought in to accompany the models down the runway!
Jacki got off pretty easy by being paired with a trained dog, however, her luck ended at that and she was put up for elimination along with Perry and Ben, for not showing sufficient improvement. America voted, and Jacki was told she could not be made into a supermode l- not on this show at least. Stylehive just spoke to the ousted supermodel-hopeful to get the scoop on the chaotic challenges and more. Stylehive: How would you sum up your experience on the show?Jacki: Oh man- the opportunity of a lifetime. I mean I have enough for being able to stick it out as long as I did. It€™s just a great, great experience and good things to come! Stylehive: What were your thoughts on working with all those animals?
Jacki: Surprise, definitely surprise! I kind of thought they would throw some kind of animal in, especially with the weeks going they get tougher, but that was a great experience for me. And the whole farm animal thing, I got the dog, but it was just chaos! It was a lot to focus on and to be aware of. But yeah it was chaos, it was a lot, it was a tough week! Stylehive: If you could go back and re-do these challenges, is there anything you would have done differently?
Jacki: Absolutely, I think that any time you€™re given a second chance there are things that you would do differently because you have another opportunity to fix something. For my catwalk I could have done things differently, for the photo-shoot I could have done things differently. But ultimately everything happens for a reason and it€™s okay. Stylehive: Who did you think was gonna get voted off this week?
Jacki: Oh man, I mean the girls have been dropping like flies so I was kind of nervous about that. But at the same time, Perry and I had never been in the bottom three before, so I thought maybe that would have been an advantage, because this was Ben€™s second time. There are just so many things that some into play, it€™s the audience that€™s voting and they know who they want to stay on. And I know that we all have so many fans and they€™ve been so supportive, so I still feel food about the whole thing. I know that there were a lot of people voting for me and that a lot of people are behind me, so that€™s very, very encouraging. Stylehive: What are some of the best style tips you€™ve learned during your time on the show?
Jacki: How to do my hair! My hair was a train wreck before I came here! So I definitely learned some things about hair and product and all those kinds of things. All of our products are Garnier- I€™ve been using a lot of that and when I blow-dry my hair I use a round brush and blow-dry it straight and then a little bit of Garnier product. And then I use a ceramic flatiron- I absolutely love it; it€™s amazing that it€™s possible for my hair to do this because I never would have thought of it before. Stylehive: Who do you think should win?
Jacki: I am really rooting for Shannon and Holly. They€™re very, very strong competitors, especially Shannon- she hasn€™t even been in the bottom three yet- their attitudes, their personalities, everything that makes them up is wonderful, so I€™m rooting for those two. And then Ronnie- I think that Shannon, Ronnie, and Holly are my top three because they really can handle the title of €˜Supermodel.€™ I think it€™s more than people think and it€™s only gonna be one person that wins and that person needs to be able to handle that title and take it to the best that they can.
