I bring Tylenol with me to the airport for two reasons. First, flying sometimes gives me a headache, and second, the number of fashion faux-pas that I inevitably see make my eyes sore.
I'm not saying that the airport runway should be a fashion runway as well, nor do I believe that bad outfits are reason to notify security, but I do think there are a few tips worth following.In-Flight Fashion Tip #1: Whatever you do, try to make sure that you're wearing enough clothing. Sounds silly, I know, but it could get you kicked off your flight. No kidding. In-Flight Fashion Tip #2: By the same token, you can also be overdressed. Linen and silk clothing wrinkles easily, while 100% cotton clothing does not, so keep that in mind as you set aside your outfit.In-Flight Fashion Tip #3: Try to keep jewelry to a minimum or keep it in your carry-on as it will slow you down at security and make sleeping even more uncomfortable. (Same with studded belts and big buckles.)
