Celebs have amazing, enviable style, but they also have a whole army of stylists and beauty specialists making them that way! Now, us mere mortals can get in on the fun as well with this brand new website- istylista.com, where you can get an automated personal stylist of your very own!

Since I have ALWAYS wanted a stylist (how amazing life would be if I never had to pillage through piles of clothes while grappling with the closet full of clothes and NOTHING to wear dilemma) I eagerly hopped on the site to investigate.

After filling out a questionnaire on topics including body shape, clothing size, skin tone, lifestyle, face shape, hair and eye color, my style goddess appeared to point me in the right direction.

Here are some interesting tips I acquired:

- For my body shape, I am better off wearing a skirt and a sexy blouse, rather than a dress, as this will balance out my overall appearance (I can€™t say I wasn€™t a little bummed by this tidbit given my obsession with dresses.)
- I need to invest in some statement belts buckled at the waistline, which will create more curves and spice up my look to boot (I was never much of a belt wearer, but it might be time to start!)
- I should try knee length skirts with contoured waistbands that are softly gathered at the waist and paneled, which will add curves.

Style Goddess also provided me with a list of closet essentials and which colors, shapes, and fabrics to invest in for each.

But my FAVORITE shopping tidbit has to be €˜before buying anything- make sure the item can be worn with at least 3 other outfits in your wardrobe and think about how you could wear it over 3 of the 4 seasons.€™

Duh! What have I been thinking?

Consensus:

While I stubbornly went into this thinking I wouldn€™t acquire any tips I didn€™t already know, I came out enlightened and a bit more fashion savvy, not to mention, more in tune with my shape and how to flatter my figure. I, like most women, always thought that going shopping was the solution to the 'nothing to wear' predicament. After my style session, however, I realized that I have an endless supply of ensemble options; it just takes some crafty maneuvering to reinvent an item of clothing every time you wear it.
