Acing a gab-fest with the ladies of The View is no easy feat, but potential first-lady Michelle Obama passed with flying colors, sparking headlines on account of her stellar co-host stint left and right! On yesterday's show, Michelle defended her patriotism, balanced talk about serious political issues with lighthearted subjects such as her aversion to pantyhose, and established herself as a budding fashion-trendsetter.
Michelle sported a black and white leaf-print tank dress by Donna Ricco which she picked up at White House Black Market on Fifth Ave, saying, "It's fun to look pretty." Immediately after her appearance, the store noted a significant spike in requests for the dress, looks like we may have another Jackie O on our hands! A graphic black and white dress like the one worn by Michelle is a great alternative to the ubiquitous LBD, its fun, playful, and versatile enough to dress up or down to suit any occasion.
