Katie Holmes is renowned for her high-fashion, ultra-glam style. Having become to used to seeing her decked out in beyond gorgeous designer garments, it was obviously a great shock when our glamor-girl went in the opposite direction, stepping out in grunge-inspired style complete with tattered and torn jeans that looked like they were lifted out of a pile meant for the Salvation Army. Thanks her solid status as a fashion-icon, this look is starting to catch on and is spreading to other fashion-forward starlets, becoming- dare I say it- a trend!
