The Hybrid car: Half electric, half gas. A pluot: half plum, half apricot. And the mythical merman? Half man, half mermaid. Some consider hybrids to be the best of both worlds. So, it would seem that the 'bootie-sandal' would mean spacious freedom for your toes and strappy support for your ankles. This half-breed can be found in suede, metallics, with heels, and even jersey (yes, almost like a sock). Still very much in line with the always classic boot but also with a dramatic twist of the trendy gladiator sandal, is it perfectly balanced like sweet and sour chicken or does it more closely resemble poor 'ol botched Frankenstein?
