Talk about double Dutch-- top luxury lingerie designer marlies|dekkers has nabbed a highly coveted CILA (Contour International Lingerie Award) for the second year in a row, this time for her 'undressed' maternity collection. The designer accepted the award for the Best Maternity category at the reception and fashion show held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. In 2007, she walked away with the Best Fashion Lingerie award at the event, produced every year by Contours magazine. Dekkers designed the sexier nursing bras after her pregnant friends pointed out the absence of such a collection, and cites her philosophy that being a new mom is no reason to be 'frumpy.' When fashion, comfort, and practicality look this good together, recognition is undeniable, and we're excited to see who else takes note.
