Style Giveaway: And The Winners Of The Charmingwall Prints Are...

Five lucky Hivers' Fridays just got a lot better, and their walls will soon be much more charming. This week we asked Hivers to tells us which Charmingwall print they'd want, why they wanted it, and which wall they'd hang it on, and some of the responses truly blew us away. From the soul-baring to the poetic to the hilariously honest, choosing just five winners was no easy feat. And without further adieu, they are...

Corinne, who chose "Blissful Moment" by Erik Otto. She wrote, "I like the whole series but am drawn to this one the most. I€™d hang it in my office, because it€™s so eye-catching that it will distract my clients from the fact that my office is a mess! I like the idea of a blissful moment in amongst that chaos." Corinne, we're sure your office is charming in spite of the chaos, but enjoy your print!

Marley, who chose "Book Revisited" by Wendy Crabb. She had this to say: "What a gorgeous site! I was attracted to Wendy Crabb€™s work from €œThrill Ride€ on the front page but I think I would want €œBook Revisited€ a lovely print of a lovely lady with literal waves of hair, complete with a ship! I have a bit of a mermaid fetish and have images of mermaids all over my bathroom walls. They€™re happiest there--it€™s the water closet, after all! And this fantastical sea-creature would fit in nicely. I€™ll tell my mermaids she has a tail you can€™t see. And I think it€™s a striking image that will surprise my guests. I love the rest of Crabb€™s work, especially the carnivalesque prints €œThrill Ride€ And €œBy the Grace€; after the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island this weekend I€™ve got carnivals and sea breezes on the brain." Marley, we love the idea of calling a bathroom a water closet!

Habibah, who chose "The Nunnery" by Bailey Saliwanchik. She said, "The beautifully stylized work of Bailey Saliwanchik draws me into another dimension of truth. Her pieces are what art should be: emotional and conscious. The €œNunnery€ is by far my favorite. The contrast between soft blues and orbergine tones is both soothing and honest. I truly understand the shrouded culture and the sad eyes. The covered mouths reminds me to speak my truth. This print would live on my bedroom ceiling where the light from my window could give nourishing light to the little girl hiding behind her mother. I€™d love to know the story behind this provocative creation." It sounds like you've already been so inspired by this print, so we're excited for you to own it!

Darlene, who chose "The Queen" by Bailey Saliwanchik. She wrote, "The Queen really speaks to me. I just re-did my home office and I would hang the Queen right above my desk. She is strong, knowledgeable, regal, and above petty BS - much of what I need in my day to day work. She would serve as a daily inspiration to have all of those traits that a queen possesses." Darlene, enjoy being queen for your day at work!

And last but certainly not least, Jaime, who chose "Fauna In The Forest" by Matthew Doubek. She had this to say: "I€™m totally diggin€™ on Fauna in the Forest. It€™s the perfect juxtaposition of sassy edginess and organic elegance. I think I€™d hang it in my office - I need that kind of energy when it comes to my job." We dig the sass too, Jaime.

Congrats to all of our winners this week! And thank you to everyone who entered! You can read all of the responses here. Be sure to check back on Monday for our next contest- it's one you really, and we mean really, won't want to miss!
