Shoe Of The Week: Pelle Moda Brisk Jewel Sandals

Remember those gaudy-fabulous bubble gum machine cocktail rings you used to collect as a kid every time you were able to successfully scrounge for quarters in the cracks of diner booth cushions? Well, these Pelle Moda sandals are like the shoe equivalent of our favorite cheap-o jewelry (in an awesome way)... except they don't come in a plastic bubble case, they'll cost you more than a quarter, and they're definitely not "one size fits all." Despite their bright color and bling the size of my fist, they're actually totally comfy and practical (ha!) since they're flat and leather-lined (unlike, say, an overpriced pair of bejeweled jellies). They also come in black and forest green, but I figure if flashy-chic is what you're going for, you might as well go all out. Fuchsia, please!

~* when you mention the bejeweled jellies, are you referring to those amazing Stuart Weitzmans that I really want? They are totally practical ... over-priced, yes, but still COMPLETELY practical ... i swear ... ;) Winking
