Shoe of the Week - Jeffrey Campbell Architectural Wedge

Shoe of the Week - Jeffrey Campbell Architectural Wedge

Wedges are my favorite heel because they are usually the most comfortable and even though they gives inches and inches of height, the actual rise from toe to heel is considerably shorter than with pumps or stilettos.

This particular Jeffrey Campbell shoe attracts the eye because of the stunning structural detail of the platform. The wood platform is very geometric with a notch at the back of the shoe and square heel instead of a curved, rounded shape. The interesting shape of the platform paired with the basic black leather upper makes for a really cool, modern shoe that€™s not too overwhelming but still makes a fun statement.

The shoe is interesting enough to work with a simple skinny leg pant or shift dress but the colors are super neutral so they€™ll work with any color. I would wear them with red skinnies and a feminine blouse or tank top.

Where to Buy - Urban Outfitters

Price - $148.00

This is a very interesting looking shoe. It looks like you are walking on a big piece of wood.

I love it!!! Im kind of obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell lately. I bouught 2 already this week on ebay, of all places and they were so much cheaper than Nordstroms and definately the real thing. I want to also buy the beautiful Zag clog but its already up at $80, plus they look kind of high and am wondering if they are worth it. Take a look at these, should I buy them or just let them pass: http://cgi.ebay.com/JEFFREY-CAMPBELL-MULTI-COLOR-WEDGE-CLOGS-NEW-Sz-7-/160568398984?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item25629f5488
