A few months ago, The Los Angeles Times featured an interesting article titled "Pain at the Pump." But it wasn't talking about the rising cost of oil. No, it was detailing the rising cost of the other kind of pumps: those by Christian Louboutin, Versace and Balenciaga. It seems prices have broken through the magical $1,000 mark with some spring styles carrying price tags of $1,300 and more! As Miuccia Prada said in the article: "The obsession with handbags is over.
