Okay, so just because we happen to love dressing up doesn't mean we want to do it every day! These days we're craving anything by Paul Jacober, the graphic designer whose vintage-style tees are the perfect combination of the simplicity you need and the details you want. Jacober's latest collection, titled Never Mind The Roses, pairs iconic British imagery with seemingly random motifs such as roosters, Toile patterns, and chandeliers for a trendy yet urban effect that captures the Miami attitude he aims to put forth. Trust us, it works, and our opinion is in no way influenced by the way the tops accentuate the male models' arms. Seriously.
Few tees are truly fashion in their own right, but these take the casual wear up a level from the novelty tees that we're used to seeing. The antique and deconstructed finishes in addition to their superior quality make them perfect for day (with jeans and Frye boots), or night (with heels, blingy jewelry, and a blazer). They're also a welcome break from the slew of overpriced monochrome basics that contemporary designers insist are the ultimate in casual cool, that we were happy to go along with... until now.
