"Principles of natural movement and the body inspire my vision of how fabric should drape, and my study of art has translated powerfully into my use of color and manipulation of silhouette. My clothes rely heavily on special detailing- a particular trim or print or texture that makes it special- usually inspired by a painting, or a sculpture, or even a beautiful architecture. "I can see myself designing a line of jewelry in the near future. For my Holiday 08 collection I experimented with mosaics of jewels and stones as embellishment for the garments. I think a great piece of jewelry has the power to transform a garment, and I would love to create jewelry that complements the clothing as well as makes a statement on its own." Nancy For Sale
