For the Milly Spring 2009 collection designer Michelle Smith went mad for all things bohemian, presenting a fabulously psychedelic collection that was just so wickedly groovy. Floaty chiffon caftans, innovative prints in psychedelic shades, headbands wrapped around the head, and rich shades that just can€™t help but make you think of Woodstock, even if you weren€™t there. Plus, fringed belts and bags, chunky beaded necklaces - the haute hippie motif came through loud and clear with each and every look. It wasn€™t ALL retro, pieces that stayed true to the signature Milly ultra-femme aesthetic like structured party frocks, sharp separates, and beautifully crafted tops also pranced on through
