During out chat at the Whitley Kros show during Day 1 of LA Fashion Week, Juliette told me her secrets for turning cute outfit into a bold, personal style statement. "My friends Marissa and Sophia are behind the Whitley Kros label, so I'm wearing this adorable piece from their line" she explained. "But to make it my own, I added these tights, these silver shoes, and of course the hat. That's all me, baby."

Juliette's friends "Marissa and Sophia" are of course Marissa Ribisi (wife of Beck, sister of Giovanni) and Sophia Coloma (owner of hipster boutique Satine and wife of CSI star Marcus Coloma), so Juliette has plenty of talented and creative people surrounding her, which I think informs her style, and perhaps more importantly, gives her the confidence and positive reinforcement to do what she wants to do.

Because you're not going to go from 17-year old starlet to a sexy renaissance woman surrounding yourself with "no people," people. Take it from Juliette.
