Jami Rodriguez Rocks Stylehive With Her Amazing Accessories - Stylehive

For someone who just started playing around with beads, chains, and metals five years ago, Jami's star is rising, with mentions in Daily Candy, Lucky, and Marie Claire.

Jami took some time away from her artistry to speak exclusively with Stylehive, so read on, then check out my SLIDESHOW of my fave Jami jewels!

Stylehive: First, how did you find out about Stylehive?
Jami: My good friend and the owner of my LA showroom introduced me to Stylehive a few months back. I just bought a new house this month so at the moment I€™m having a great time peeking around at all the home furnishings everyone has bookmarked!

Stylehive: Describe the kind of girl that wears Jami Rodriguez.
Jami: She loves to have a good time, doesn't take herself too seriously and adores jewelry that makes a statement!

Stylehive: Where do you get the inspirations for your designs?
Jami: That€™s the easy part of the business. I always make designing a fun experience. Whatever music I€™m listening to at the moment has a huge influence on the collection I put together. Other than that, I just go with the flow. My best collections are the ones that come together on a whim right before a deadline!

Stylehive: What are your favorite pieces from your collection?
Jami: I love the necklaces from my €œTangled Elements€� collection. They are very bold so I can just throw on a simple top, jeans and heels and end up with a look that is still unique.

Stylehive: What jewelry do you wear every day?
Jami: I have to take each piece I design for a test drive to make sure it€™s wearable. I design at least 50 new pieces each season so it€™s usually something new everyday.

Stylehive: Who are your favorite designers?
Jami: I€™m always on the look out for something new. My designer of the moment just happens to be a lovely 76-year-old lady who lives down the street from me. She makes this adorable, old fashion apron dresses that look so fresh when paired with the right accessories.

Stylehive: If you were to accessorize a designer's runway show - which designer would it be?
Jami: Sonia Rykeil! Her shows look like so much fun and the clothes are to die for!

Stylehive: If you could collaborate with any other jewelry designer on a collection, who would you choose to work with?
Jami: It would have to be my younger sister. She€™s not a jewelry designer but she is extremely artistic and has an amazing ability to see things outside the box. She has worked with metals, fabrics and leathers so it would be an interesting collaboration. She will be back for the summer so who knows€¦€¦

Jami: More fun and more jewels!
