January 2007 marked the public release of Upper Playground's specialty furniture line, with an exhibition displaying custom furniture they built designed by notable artists like Sam Flores, Jeremy Fish, Estevan Oriol and many others. The unique element about Upper Playground's furniture line is that it gives the customer an opportunity to completely create their own furniture pieces. Taking custom to a whole new level, each piece will be tailored to each customer's vision, from materials right down to the design of their piece. All the pieces are masterfully hand-crafted and finished under the direction of furniture designer and fabricator Francisco Robles. Upper Playground will start taking orders, by appointment only, in early 2007.
