Remember that lawsuit where McDonald's was sued by the woman who burned herself with hot coffee? Perhaps McD's should've used Tip n' Sip Coffee Mugs that allow you to drink your hot liquids without burning your tongue. For some of us in the cold, it's hard not to pour yourself a scalding hot drink to warm you up. Then you get stuck waiting around for the coffee or tea to cool down so you don't hurt yourself by drinking too quickly. Apparently coffee is brewed at 205ºF, but the Tip n' Sip has a "Temperature Control Chamber" at the top of the mug that adjusts your beverage to the "Perfect Zone" of 150-170ºF for safe drinking. This innovative lid has three functions: €œLock€ (sealed and spill proof); €œTip & Cool€ (Temperature Control Chamber activated); or €œSip€, which bypasses the chamber, which means you can drink normally for cold liquids. This great invention is only $19.95, is pretty sleek and available in raspberry, lime, orange, forest, black, or blue.
