The Stylehive loves vintage as well as new emerging designers, so naturally independent designer Michele Lau fits in nicely within these Stylehive trends. Hawaiian-based Lau makes original creations by taking vintage fabrics and transforming them into girly and colorful designs with a modern cut. Her creations are forms of geometric shapes, scallops for a fish-scale effect, and playful florals made into fun and flirty baby doll tops. Lau has two lines: the Michele Lau label which is more €œserious€�, and the more casual Rip Mutha line.
