Leopard, the upcoming version of Mac OS X (10.5) is set to ship spring of 2007. Delivering 64-bit power, while maintaining support for 32-bit applications, and a whole slew of great new features, Leopard is the next milestone in the non-stop stream of amazing products coming from Apple. One of the new features bundled in is 'Timeline', an application designed to make back up and restore an effortless process. With Timeline the user can visually "travel back in time" and recall any file that was ever backed up, not just the most current version. 'Spaces', another new feature, deals with desktop clutter by allowing the user to create multiple desktops, up to four workspaces, that can be toggled through with a single button or mouse click. The instant messaging application iChat, has also had a considerable make-over with the addition of a desktop sharing function, Screen Share, that allows users to share their friends' desktop or even remotely take control of their computer. Also, adding even more ways for the user to customize their own workspace, is 'Dashcode' an application used to create widgets of your own design. Leopard looks to be another brilliantly designed product by Apple effectively streamlining your work and enhancing your creativity.
