Lighting becomes an art form with Aton Lumiere€™s debut lighting collection, Aer. This Quebec-based lighting studio of Muhammad Moussa and Rick Shean get their inspiration from the constant search for the extraordinary in the ordinary. The Aer collection is customizable lighting that looks like it is made out of delicate lace. Actually made out of an unglazed clay top and a maple wood base, the clay is innovatively designed to create gaps and spaces in the surface for the light to spread through. The result is a beautiful glowing effect of shadow and light that is emphasized in a dark room, but still provides ambient lighting when the lamp is not lit. Available in floor, table, horizontal, mini, and candle versions, you can choose between a elegant curls or a lace design.
