The interest for socially conscious modern design is a continuing trend in the Hive. Especially during the winter holidays, there is more opportunity to share with those in need. Dutch designer Richard Hutten has created the Allumonde ring exclusively for the Social Design Network. Hutten is a renowned furniture and industrial designer whose work is featured in the Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art Amsterdam, Vitra Museum Weil am Rhein, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The Allumonde ring design represents commitment, connection and continuity, and is available in gold, titanium, silver and stainless steel finishes. Partial proceeds from this iconic ring will benefit the charity of the member€™s choice as well as UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
