Stylehive was there to celebrate Louis Vuitton's grand unveiling of the installation "Hothouse (Blue)" by artist Teresita Fernandez in San Francisco. Vuitton commissioned the piece specifically for their San Francisco maison, making it the second U.S. Louis Vuitton store to permanently house artwork. The supercool "Hothouse (Blue)" consists of a large piece of translucent blue glass overlaid with some 16,000 cabochon mirrors that look like droplets of rain. The lovely artist was joined by Louis Vuitton President and CEO Daniel Lalonde, Marketing VP Heather Vandenberghe, and impeccably-dressed guests from the San Francisco Bay Area (we clean up really well!). San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and his actress fiance Jennifer Siebel were also there, so of course I had to snag a photo with the dapper power broker! Check out the pics in my SLIDESHOW of the LV bash.
