Hot Interview: Graffiti Pink's State of Undress

About Graffiti Pink:
Throw out your granny-panties and check out LA-based Graffiti Pink!

Created by Light Silver and Jasmine Imani (pictured, top left), Graffiti Pink launched in November 2006, bringing European style to the American intimates market. This cheeky (get it? cheeky?) online lingerie site features big designers like Malicious, Third Floor, and Hanky Panky, but there's also plenty of room for up-and-coming brands, as well as Graffiti Pink's upcoming in-house line, not to mention jewelry, bath, and beauty products.

So how did Graffiti Pink corner the market on sexy? Jasmine let Stylehive in on a few of her secrets.

SH: Great site! Who's the typical Graffiti Pink customer?

Jasmine Imani: The Graffiti Pink customer truly understands that it's what underneath that counts. She may have to dress a certain way for work, but underneath her clothes, she can express herself.

SH: What trends do you see coming up in lingerie?

JI: Sheer is a big ready-to wear trend coming to lingerie. Peek-a-boo bras are also making a statement this coming season. Our design focuses on anything funky and chic.

SH: Graffiti Pink online is relatively new. How has business been so far?

JI: It has been amazing. It€™s been like giving people something they didn€™t realize they were missing.

SH: What do you look for in the brands that you carry?

JI: We look for things that are comfortable as well as trendy. Color is always good especially for the internet. Things should pop off the screen to you.

SH: What is your favorite lingerie style right now?

JI: The romper or one piece. It's being seen out on the streets as well. But I love the one piece to sleep in.

SH: What advice would you give to a start-up online boutique?

JI: To do their research. The Internet is just as competitive as having a brick and mortar store.

SH: You€™ve branched out from just lingerie, to carrying jewelry collections, candles, bath and beauty, and even a few shoes. What€™s next?

JI: We will be doing the Graffiti Pink House line which will include everything for bras to panties to yoga wear. Also Graffiti Pink Perfume with bath products to follow. The Graffiti Pink brand will be endless so keep your eyes on the Internet - and the streets!
