We love a marriage between good design and a worthy cause, and during Breast Cancer Awareness Month there's no worthier cause than helping to find the cure. Design Within Reach and Knoll think so too, and they've partnered to produce ten limited-edition Florence Knoll Benches.
DWR provided pink Spinneybeck Riva leather, while Knoll donated the benches. This month DWR will auction off the ten benches (which would normally retail for almost $3500), nine in DWR Studios across the country and one online. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, a grassroots network of survivors and activists and the world's largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.Show your support for breast cancer awareness by bidding on one of these very special benches.
