Artist Sophie Honeybourne has found a way to turn ordinary silver into glittering and stunning pieces of art with her pretty and charmingly sweet jewelry line. After graduating from The Royal College of Art in 2003, Sophie set up shop and began to sell her pieces both privately and publicly through shops and galleries. When asked what gave her the inspiration for her organic and minimalist approach to jewelry, Sophie credited her childhood and current home, the Isle of Wight, a sunny seaside town filled with farmlands and coastal beaches, for her earthy aesthetics. The artist uses seasonal colors and simple shapes, mainly working with sterling silver and fine silver, with delicate little details of seed pearls and 18ct gold. Her newest collection is a simple, yet girly set of enamels in brilliant shades of red, blue, and pearl - certain to make an eye catching statement.
