There€™s nothing like a little fashion angst in a designer€™s collection because after all, fashion is art and art is always passionate. That was the story at Julia Clancey€™s showing on Sunday after a tussle with customs, but if there€™s anything passion does is bring it ten-fold regardless. Her fall line centers around making a statement all on its own, working classic red, black and white and giving everything a sophisticated, putting-on-the-Ritz vibe. Dresses took the center stage and appeared at all lengths with dynamic, contrasting details like big bows and unexpected beading.
