I saw a commercial for this face scrubber that washes your face with sonic waves. Could this be true? I had to sit down because I almost lost my breath. The same people who invented the Sonicare Toothbrush made this thing called the Clarisonic, so in my mind it already had serious street cred. Being the skin junkie that I am, I lusted for it and bookmarked the item in my head. Lo and behold, an anonymous package arrives in my name two weeks later, and what is inside but the same face washer I was lusting after! It was from mom, of course, because only she would know I would die for something like this.
Can I just say without going any further: waterproof. Full-on, take me it in the shower, no weird cords or batteries. Waterproof. It€™s like a miracle.Okay, so as I am opening my beloved, all I could think of is the countless times I have smashed myself up in snowboard accidents and had to undergo physical therapy. One part of the therapy was always a sonic massage. I mean, if physical therapists use sonic waves to help heal broken bones, what was this contraption going to do for my face! Yes! I could barely contain myself.I have only just begun to use the thing and my skin already feels soooo much softer and smoother. It€™s been really easy to pluck my eyebrows, the hair just sort of pops out. And it feels so, so, so good, like a little massage and far more gentle than I had imagined. The best part is I don€™t have to get my hands wet to wash my face anymore and I have phased out exfoliation from the skincare regime. I know, those sound like strange benefits, but if you are like me then washing your face is a chore €“ anything to make it easier! It does have a super-hefty price tag of in the neighborhood of about $200, but I tell you it is well worth it. I think there is some 30-day trial thing, so if you really don€™t like it just send it back.Ok bees, so far I love this thing! I will keep you posted as to how it all turns out. Tell me what you think about it, would you ever use it? Click Here for more info.
