It's well into August and I find myself in an odd place, shopping-wise. It's a little early to be shopping for fall, but should I really be buying more summer clothes? To make it through these uncertain times, I'm trying to shift my thinking away from clothes to my laptop. It deserves so much more than the ordinary black sleeve I keep it in, and just because I'm in a retail rut doesn't mean she (yes, she's a she) should have to suffer. So here's my list of carriers and accessories that Stylehivers have been bookmarking like crazy.
#1 Poppy laptop sleeves from Uncommon Goods
This case is great for those of you who don't want a boring case but don't want something with a print that resembles your first grade art project either. The flower is simple but artsy and adds the little something extra that every laptop bag needs. Oh yeah, and it's cute!Where In The Hive: bookmark/15255
#2 Belkin laptop case
This sleek option functions as both a protective carrying case and a cushion, so you can shop online (er€¦ work) anywhere, comfortably! In addition to basic silver, it comes in fun colors like green and orange, and the handle makes it perfect for toting around!Where In The Hive: bookmark/88315
#3 Shtickers! laptop decals
Stand out in class without even raising your hand with these fun decals, which are available in a variety of styles ranging from fine art to animal prints. They're removable which is great if you're like me and can never make up your mind, and you can even customize your own if you can't find one you like!Where In The Hive: bookmark/41090
#4 Tokidoki for LeSportSac ciao ciao bag
Messenger bags make great laptop bags, and they really don't get any cuter than this one! Just be sure to keep the laptop in a protective sleeve so it doesn't get scratched by anything else you keep in there. It can be worn on one shoulder or across your body, and either way you'll still be able to hold your coffee without juggling as you make your way to class. Awesome.Where In The Hive: bookmark/27167
#5 Miu Miu gathered leather bag
Fortunately, there's no law that says your laptop can only be carried in a run-of-the-mill bag that was specifically made for it, which is where this lovely tote comes in. It costs about as much as a laptop, but you need to honor your computer's dignity. You wouldn't wear sweats while carrying Chanel, would you? Think about it.Where In The Hive: bookmark/211911
