Hive5: Bacon Does a Body Good - Stylehive

Bacon. It's the reason I get up in the morning. Its smoky, seductive smell makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and waltz to the tick of my kitchen timer. In fact, I had bacon twice today: once at breakfast and once again on my sandwich at lunch.

It was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Apparently other people share my passion for cured, salted pork belly. There's been a blossoming of bacon-inspired products on the hive, and I'm buying every last one of them.

#1 Bacon Wallet

This clever pleather (hey that rhymes!) wallet brings new meaning to "bringin' home the bacon." And it makes me damn hungry.

#2 Bacon Alarm Clock

The Wakin' Bacon alarm clock uses a heat lamp to release the delicious aroma of bacon right into your bedroom! If I had this, I'd never be late for work or class ever again.

#3 Exotic Bacon Candy Bar

This gourmet milk chocolate bar is infused with crisp little bacon bits. I can tell you from experience that bacon and chocolate go together like peas and carrots. As a kid I used to eat bacon along with my morning bowl of Cocoa Pebbles. Clearly it was the breakfast of champions.

For the carnivore in your life, I recommend this garish green wrapping paper with sizzling strips of bacon running across it. He/she/I will be forever grateful.

#5 Bacon and Egg Bandages

Getting little cuts and scrapes is a bummer, but these cute little breakfast bandages make them so much easier to deal with! You can protect your boo boo with a mini sunnyside-up egg, or a strip of bacon. I choose bacon.
