Style Q&A: Tina Fey's Style Secret? Army of Gay Guys. - Stylehive

I'm sure all of you Tina Fey fans will be very pleased to learn that this renaissance woman is just as quirky, cool, and hilarious in person as she is on TV. I caught up with Tina at the 67th Annual Peabody Awards at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on Monday - her show 30 Rock received a coveted Peabody - where we got the chance to chat about how Tina manages to stay so fabulous despite her beyond busy schedule and cleared up some of the rumors about Oprah making a cameo.

Stylehive: What are your best style secrets?
Tina Fey: Oh good lord! It takes an army of gay guys!

Stylehive: So what has this army of gay guys taught you?
TF: Well I feel like I have learned stuff about what shapes work for me, you will never see me in any bias-cut garment, ever, that€™s the biggest thing I€™ve learned. And I€™m just trying to learn that thing of like to not let clothes wear you. I have a friend who said a great thing, €˜don€™t wear what fashion designers try and sell you, wear what they wear.€™ When you see fashion designers they€™re almost always in like the white shirt and pants or like a simple dress, and they make it look fabulous, just dress like the actual fashion designers dress.

Stylehive: Is it true that Oprah€™s going to be on your show?
TF: It€™s true that we want her! We€™re gonna see, I talked to her a little bit about it, I have no idea actually, we€™re certainly gonna ask her, but she€™s a very busy woman so we€™ll see what happens.

Stylehive: What kind of role?
TF: Um, anything she wants!
