While the early-90's grunge look of baggy jeans and plaid flannel shirts has never appealed to me, lately I've caught myself doing more than a few double-takes on a similar style while out and about. Plaid shirts - the lumberjack style best associated with mountain men and the grunge-era - are definitely catching my eye. But the shirts that I've spotted lately aren't anything like their grunge-era cousins, this new generation of plaid shirts is hip, chic, and effortless. Don't believe me? Well check out some styles now in the Hive, like this ultra-cute white collared and cuffed plaid button up; it would look anything but shabby tucked under a pair of high-waisted jeans. Or how about this adorable red Steven Alan plaid shirt? I'd wear it open over a pair of black skinnies and some cute flats. Even if you're still skeptical about this trend, you've gotta' check out all of the plaid shirt styles now available in the Hive!
