GUESS Going Green Means Even Less Global Warming Guilt!

GUESS- the iconic label known for cutting edge fashion, ultra sexy denim-wear and provocative ad campaigns is upping the cool factor this season by getting in on the hottest trend around- that€™s right, they€™re going GREEN! Starting in April, GUESS, in collaboration with the Environmental Media Association (EMA) will be making it easier for you to reduce your Carbon Footprint by introducing the GUESS GREEN program, offering new styles of jeans, tee€™s and tanks for men and women made from organic cotton.

Not only will you look good, but you can feel good as well: Ten percent of the proceeds from the sale of GUESS GREEN denim will go towards the EMA which mobilizes the entertainment industry in a global effort to educate people about environmental issues and inspire them to take action.

Not only is GUESS GREEN fashionable and environmentally friendly, but it also meets the needs of the ever-growing population of people who are making an effort to live a 'greener' lifestyle," says CEO Paul Marciano. "In order to protect the long-term health of the planet, while encouraging a more environmental responsibility throughout the industry, we are minimizing our own impact and continuing to offer trend-setting styles.€

In addition, customers that make any purchases of $100 or more will receive a reusable tote bag which, if used on future shopping trips, will get them a 5% discount.

Products will be sold at GUESS North American retail locations and online at GUESS.com. So come on kids, do your part, I know that all of us have been carrying around our share of global-warming guilt!
