I LOVE, L.O.V.E. all things David Bowie. However, my new favorite song by the gorgeous and amazing performer is "Prettiest Star" which became so just when I needed a little pick me up. Huge changes in my life are happening. So what if I pretend like he is singing it to me and that the song is called "Prettiest Star(r)" hee hee.

This is from the wayback machine but my all time fav is "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"-Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrill 1966. I love the sentiment that nothing can keep me away from you no matter how far no matter where you are I'll be there in a hurry . That no obstacle or space will keep us apart. I just love the romance of it.

Love You Madly by Cake. It is the perfect description of how most want to feel about the one they love. It also transcends gender and age -- teens, adults, married folk, women and men can all relate to this song at least somewhat.

My all time favorite song has to be Let it Be by The Beatles. The most powerful line of the song for me is 'And in my hour of darkness, she is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be." This song has been a rock for me since I've been a little girl, and throughout my parents divorce. Sometimes just letting things be is the best motto. The Beatles Rock.... period... :x Love It!

"Stories I Tell" by Toad the Wet Sprocket. All kinds of great lyrics in this song like: "fame is a cancer and ego it's seed." The song talks about, at the end of the day, the only important thing is that you have someone to share your life with who will listen to you and cares about what you have to say. We all want someone to understand us.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Simon and Garfunkel It shows the love and support between two close people, be it a love relationship or a deep friendship. It's a beautiful song that reminds us that we're not alone and there are people that love us.

November Rain byGuns N' Roses is my all time favorite song. It reminds me to live for the moment and cherish those you love by being there for them. Life is too short. Plus in the music video I so wanted to rock that wedding dress one day. You know the one (short in the front and long in the back).......lol!
